Nissan Pickup rim
The term rim is the shape of a raised edge of a more or less circular object,
this can be hoop from which the net is suspended or the outer part of a wheel
to which the tire is attached. This is a projection used for strength or for attaching
to another object; or either the top edge of a vessel that give more strength
or give support to the car.. Nissan 4WD lifts require new wheels. This is because
the distance from inner sidewall of inflated tire to rim mount surface cannot
exceed 4-1/2", the distance requires wheels to avoid interference. Nissan lifts
are complete bolt-on systems that include replacement knuckle adapters.
The job also includes the relocation of the upper & lower ball joints and
also the differential drop bracketry and brake line extensions. The Nissan front
suspension consists of upper and lower control arms suspended by torsion bars.
This a front achieved by adjusting-up the factory torsion bars. As the ride height
is increased, the distance between the bottom of the upper control arms and their
extension travel stops and decreases. Without extension travel, the suspension
cannot do its job of soaking-up the bumps and dips.
The continuous topping out may causes accelerated upper ball joint wear. In some
other case, adjusting-up the bars alone is not a real option. To allow sufficient
extension travel, the use of super lift replacement tubular upper control arms
can help to restore proper ball joint angle, and the camber angle. Nevertheless
the amount of lift available will always depend on the pre-lift ride height.
