Nissan pickup lift kit
The well-known Nissan did not design the steering systems on their 4WD vehicles
just to withstand the added stress caused by tires larger than stock. But there
is bolt on idler arm brace that will strengthen the steering components so that
this bolt may avoid failure of these critical components. This important bolt
is considered the kit lift. Extra Cab models with two-piece driveshaft may experience
driveline vibration under acceleration from rubber-cased carrier bearing. They
require the lowering the carrier bearing or replacing the driveshaft with a on-piece
unit.
The Superunner steering must not be used on lifts in excess of 6". Amount of
lift achieved will vary from truck to truck. Nissan retired the Hardbody Pickup
in 1998 and brought out the new Frontier. Calmini has engineered a great 3” system
that will allow to run 32 x 11.5 tires while keeping that great factory ride quality
in tact. Kit is needed that includes: Hi-angle upper ball joints, the Delrin pivot
bushings with sleeves; 26mm extreme duty torsion barsRear lift blocks: the Rear
shackles & bump stop extensions; the Front and rear gas charged shocks; U-bolts
and the All the necessary hardware and instructions.
